Kate Moss VS Agyness Deyn

It's that time again, time for a Public Vote! Our previous Public Vote was DKNY vs VIVIENNE TAM and DKNY won.

This time it is... KATE MOSS vs AGYNESS DEYN

sweet_3094 - I think I prefer Agyness Deyn. She is more fashionable and she has that crazy style, and I love it. And now she is on Stardoll.. We can even buy some of her clothes! Unfortunately, we can't do that with Kate Moss, just yet.

writemarycat - I Can't choose, because they are different. Kate is not very beautiful, that is why most women like her - she is like everybody. Though, she has own charm... And Agyness is Unique and freaky. That is why we all like her too! She is not like everyone!

noelle_page - I'd go for Kate Moss. She is an epitome of a rebellious chameleon. She went beyond the norms of beauty and made it known to the world that there is more than meets the eye.

hrvatica_97 - Agyness Deyn, 100 %! Because her style is unique, 'funky', and she began a whole new generation of models. I mean, just look at her, and the hair, everything. Fierce much?

sheer.models - As Much As I Love And Respect Agyness, I Have To Say Kate. The Reason Being That She Has Worked Harder To Get Herself Where She Is Now. She Has Fought So Many Hard Times And She Has Survived! She Is Such An Idol To Me And Always Will Be. Oh, Did I Mention Her Being The Most Gorgeous Model Alive!

arna-rut - Agyness, Cause well kate moss is kinda gross. Also, she has more style than Kate to be honest.

hunnigall - Oh, definately Agy! Agyness has introduced to us that we can all be who we are and express ourselves even with the most glamourous or grungy lifestyles! She's an inspiration to us all - Who doesn't look up to her?!?!?!

Naive-Magazine - Altough the latest trend is Agyness Deyn, Kate Moss is still a great fashion icon to me. I can't really tell who is better. Deyn is very original and funky, while Moss is more minimalistic and "Calm". I must say, because of my personality I choose Kate Moss. As much as I love Agyness Deyn, I stick to my roots of keeping Moss at my list of favorite models, and I keep it higher than Agyness' spot. Besides, I've always had diffrent thoughts, so I won't be suprised if Deyn will win the disscusion.

Angel-Stylin - I Prefer Aygness Deyn,I Think She Is a Much Fresher,Unqiue Model.Unlike Kate Moss,She Keeps Her Private Life,Private and Doesn't Do Drugs.Her Look Is Unique,And One-Of-A-Kind,She Makes A Style Her Style and Rotates From This To That,Making Everything Look Not Just Good,But Super Stylish Too.

undamyumbrellla - I'd say Kate Moss. Trust me, I'm an enormous Agyness fan. However, I feel that Kate is a legend. She symbolizes an important time in fashion history (the 'grunge'/'heroin chic' era). She might make mistakes now and then, and I bet a lot of the other girls don't prefer her - but to me, Kate Moss is a world known fashion icon. And in a way, she paved the way for a lot of young British models (including Agyness). So, out of respect - I say the infamous, Kate Moss.

lil-bit-me - im gona come clean for agyness deyn... i prefer kate!!

Best Of Today

Hi Everyone. After rushing around stardoll just before lunch time I seen some outstanding, impressive and jaw-dropping outfits which i couldn't just forget about! So instead of forgetting I had even seen them I decided to post them right here!

I then decided to call this section of the blog 'Best Of Today.' This is where every so often Heidi or I will post the best outfits of the day. So, what am I waiting for? Lets Begin...

Dina looks so ravishing in this luxourious dress constructed by minishop items. The dress has been so perfectly created that it looks like one dress. Her hair, make-up and accesories completes this chic and stylish outfit. Overall, Dina looks like a supermodel with incredible style and talent!

Fionamcgonigle

Fiona shows elegance and uniqueness in this extravagent gown put together with many pieces of clothing. Fiona's medoll has a fresh, cute and chic look which i just feel in love with at my first look. Overall, Fiona looks simply amazing!

Isabella.Arci

Isabella has done it again! Once again, another beautiful outfit created with her professional like talents, Layering and Accesorizing. This time Isabella has made a chinese themed outfit which suits this weeks latest craze... Asian stardoll! She looks completely gorgeous. (especially that to-die-for hair)

Dora has created a simple, elegant outfit which brings out the best in her medoll. Her outfit and medoll looks so beautiful. She perfects her look by using simple make-up and subtile accesories. Overall, Dora looks chic and stylish.

To_Royal

Alot of work has oviously went into this gorgeous outfit and Dei makes it look so easy! Dei defiantly stands out from the crowd with this unique, exciting and stylish outfit. Another brilliant outfit and a gorgeous medoll, as usual for Dei!

The Latest Discovery.

After a post by Kasia on Perez Hilton Of Stardoll a sudden rush ran through stardoll with many stardoll members visiting the Chinese version of stardoll and signing up by a very confusing method. Why is it confusing, may you ask? Well, it's simply because it's in Chinese! Why do people rush to sign up, why do they struggle to sign up in this complicated way while they could simply use the stardoll we all use and love at the moment? Well, the reason is because the Chinese version of stardoll gives alot more! This includes:

Free superstar membership

Cheap rares and clothing items

Free clothes

Free minishop items

Easier to win CG

And much more! Why wouldn't you want to join?

Of course, i fell for the tempation of the Chinese stardoll and decided to sign up. It took me over half an hour until i figured out how to sign up! Finally, when i signed up i went straight to the starplaza and bought the rare dirty dancing dress for only $7! Unfortunately, you cannot sell these to your own account (on the usual stardoll) as the 2 sites are completely separate, not connected at all. Strange, huh?

I think you should all sign up and add me :)

Before i finish this post I would like to say that the Chinese version of stardoll won't be replacing our original stardoll so don't feel pressured to join! It is just a little experiment :)

Updates, New & More!

Hey Gorgeous! How've You Been?

As you may have noticed in my previous post about the amazing Agyness Deyn i left quite alot out as i was very busy and only got to give you a short update. Now, i am updating you to the max! Showing you rares that this Agyness Deyn doll has given us, the errors in the doll, the hots and the nots, the shops, the style and so much more! In the words of Trendlounge, Are you ready? I know i am. Haha!

I'm going to begin with the new clothing store which features most of Agyness' wardrope. Now, what would any of us do to get our hands on some of the beauties in Aggy's wardrope.. well I know i'd do pretty much anything! This new store is... (drumroll please) Bisou! Yes, our dreams have come true with Bisou! This is probably my ultimate favourite shop in the starplaza at the moment. Here's a few items from the shop and Aggy wearing them!

The famous Betsey Johnson dress, one of Agyness' well known wardrope choices! It costs us $10 which is a bargain compared to what it is in reality, believe me, its alot! In my opinion, it is defiantly worth $10, so what are you waiting for.. go buy it!

Okay, i tried my best with this one but it didn't work out as i planned but you get the idea, right? Haha. This is another outfit of Agyness' which i borrowed for a while. Personally, i like this outfit. An edgy look which i love!

Another one of Aggy's wardrope choices from stardoll in reality. I love the way it is oversized as if it wasn't i think it wouldn't look very good. I love the colours and this outfit just makes me smile.

My final choices for this post are the 3 House of Holland tees. You can find these in Fudge and don't panic if you can't find the yellow one as it is sold in Fudge Boys. Anyway, you may notice something strange about one of these tees which Its Stardoll Gossip brought to my attention. What is this strange thing ? Well, Deyn is spelt wrong in the red and white tee. Strange, huh? I can't be mad at stardoll for this because the rest of the clothes are so perfect! Haha.

These 4 jackets look very familar! Don't you agree? The only slight changes in the top 2 and bottom 2 is that the top 2 have a few pins in the bottom of the jacket. This jacket first jacket is taken from the Agyness doll, and the second the Hilary doll. My opinion is that the look almost identicle. Thanks to cheergrl181 for pointing this out to me.

It's Aggyyy!

Today, one of my stardoll wishes (you could possible say stardoll dreams) came true!

Yes, Miss Agyness Deyn is now a stardoll doll! My favourite model of all time, here on stardoll! I'm free to dress her anyway i wish, any time i wish! Her choices of clothes are so Aggy! When i seen them (By this time i was already over-excited) i just feel in love with her clothes, again!

For so long now i have been contacting stardoll for an Agyness Deyn doll. For so long now i have been wishing for an Agyness Deyn doll on stardoll. For so long i have been waiting! And then... so suddenly.. it's here!

TrendLounge: Rock The Hallo, Best Dressed&Review!

As you know, Marie, Mary and I had joined our forces to create a very hype; chic and extraordinary night club that we called TrendLounge

The Lounge has became very sucessful, and we're very pleased with the result!

Yesterday was our first ever party, and as i predicted it was...HOT...HOT..HOT! The party officially started at 7:30 p.m., the TL guestbook was already filled with comments by many people that couldn't wait to start!

The hostesses, who are Mary,Marie and I (Heidi), have made our glamorous appearance minutes after, in luxurious cars and gorgeous ensembles and on the same trail, the best DJ ever: Miss Britney(Britneys07) who created a fabulous, bombastic playlist that you can find here:

The followed hundreds of people dsgused in freaky yet chic outfits, dancig, drinking, chating and esteeming each others outfits!

Many games were played to have more fun and to enjoy more the party even more as bubbles game, the dance off with me against Marie, that ended by a tie! And also freaky hilarious challenges, between Fay and Mary for the most gorgeous!

And mostly a vain guessing about Eternitys covergirl!

The party ended after 4 hours of the beginning and everyone without any exception has fun! We had only one party which had over 180 pages of partying in the guestbook. Wowza!

We woul like to thank everyone who came. You made the party special, exciting and fun. You guys rocked the Hallo!

Finally! We have our blog celebration of over 300 members party all planned!

Haute Gossip Case: Stolen,and back again!

Hey Darlings!

As a new member of Eternity, I heard some gossip and precious information,that i can certainly not keep for myself! And as a faithful friend of Mary and the Eternity team, I asked the permission to reveal the following information.

First Haute Info:

-Angelica Isaksson (Angeliiicaaa__),that was stolen from Mary and Eternity by Style, has decided to come back to the E team again, because first she didn't get the article that style promised her, and secondly because Eternity offered her a higher post, with more privileges, the post is "Fashion Editor in Chief.''. This is certainly better than being featured in one or two photo shoots, and as i knew from a sure informer, Style sold Angie the Lirakis belt for 3 CODES, which is expensive,while you can buy for one or 60sd.

And Mary states clearly that Style tried to hire Gina (Modelisous), Eternity's Editor in chief as well, but the last did not fall in the trap, and stayed Faithful to Eternity!

I asked Angelica about her leaving Eternity and then coming back to it! And she said:

"Basically I looked at Style Magazine as the Vogue of Stardoll and Eternity as Elle. I'm sure that you can see why I would choose to be a writer for Vogue if I had the chance. So that's what I decided. During the time there, I was never given an assignment though which made me feel like I didn't really work there. When Mary told me that Eternity was coming back again after a short period of time where she didn't not have the possibility to make the magazine, I realized how much work she would have to make the magazine and I wanted to help her since she's probably my closest friend on Stardoll. I asked both Style and Selena if it would be okey with them since I didn't really have anything to do anyway and Style said that she didn't think that Selena would be too happy to hear that. After thinking for a while I decided that I couldn't walk away from my commitment with Teen Style and therefore I would stay there. What I didn't know was that Mary wanted me to be the editor-in-chief of the fashion section in Eternity Magazine. I considered that too for a while and I realized that I couldn't pass up that opportunity so I left Teen Style and came back to Eternity"

Second Haute Info:

-As you know,all the Halloween disguise girls: Chloé(Balenciaga), Kasia(UndamyUmbrellla) and of course Angelica, are from now on working for Eternity,with posts that until now are not know to everyone, but Mary (WriteMaryCat) gave me a hint about it and said that it's related to fashion. The girls are also blogging for waiting-for-eternity.blogspot.com the official blog for all Eternity's news.

I asked Mary if she hired them, for that reason and her answer was:

"No, when I was hiring them to The Team, I had no idea, that it was them in TeenStyle. I was placing them on the job not because of some other magazines, because of their Style and Talent"

And as a member of Eternity i assure you that the upcoming issue is the bomb! With multiple sections, gorgeous cover girl(s), new concepts and a wonderful layout. I had a sneak peek of the issue's contents, read some articles and saw some photos of the photo shoot, all that to assure you, that waiting for the next issue is certainly worth it!

Also the duel between Style (Teen Style) and Eternity, is and have always been tough, but now more than ever!!

In this case Style seems to have the bad position and role; and we at Stardoll Trendsetters are giving her the complete liberty to respond!

And Finally good luck to both Teen Style and Eternity, because they're both wonderful magazines.

New!

After the new starplaza, we all knew that we wouldn't be getting much more from stardoll for a while. But, we were misleaded as stardoll has just supplied us all with new hair styles for our medoll. And guess what? They're for both superstar and non superstar, and they are not starpoint gifts! Also, i love them!

Right here, Right now Im going to show you all the new hairstyles you can get.

The first new hairstyle I spotted was the one above. It is a very elegant hairstyle and can look simply beautiful with every outfit. Perfect for a formal and casual. I just love this hairstyle, but surprisingly...it's not my favourite.

I don't know what it is, but there is something about this hair that makes me want it, so bad! This wild and edgy look is what I am beginning to love more and more everyday. An untamed beauty! Love it.

If the previous hairstyle wasn't daring enough for you, then try this one. Personally, not one of my favourites but it still looks pretty awesome! But that might just be my crazy side coming out again, Haha.

A very chic and simple hairstyle, very loveable indeed. It looks really good but doesn't suit my medoll very well but with some slight changes of make-up and facial features it could look brilliant! Love it!

The classic up-do. It looks very fimilar to one of the starpoint prizes (hair) but looks alot better, in my opinion. I think it looks great and the chic geek look goes brilliantly with this hairstyle. I really like it.

Some more untamed looks. Very nice, indeed! Perfect for a strole across the beach on a warm, but slightly windy day. (If that makes sense?)

The first hair, i like. It looks exactly like the wig sold in the starplaza during the black lace theme. With the right make-up and/or accesories it can look amazing! As for the second hairstyle, well im not too keen on it. It looks like a train has ran over it or at least a very bad hair day!

These hairstyles look fine. Not my personal favourites or my personal hates, just in the middle. Nice, but not gorgeous.

The sleek side pony. It looks very clean, neat and tidy. Love it.

Finally, Hair isn't the only new thing we got! We also have new glossy lips! Yay, i love them. Also, new eyes are now able to be used!

Hot, Hot..Hotbuys!

As you can see the new hotbuys are out, and it's looking wonderful..apart from some that are simply horrid! We can notice also that all the pieces are from the previously released hotbuys doll, which is quite predictable! Stardoll admins can#t be so stupid to create such gorgeous clothes and not use them.

My rating would be 8/10, because it contains quite chic and elegant pieces, it is fun, fresh and girly, even if some are just imitations as the hello kitty shirt!

The only dark point is those hot pink boots, they are horrid, and so unwearable!

And here's start my review of the hotbuys, that are classed by the date of release!

-Hotbuys dress: Created by Luella for the Fall 2008 RTW, this dress looks fantastic and so chic with a very feminine form, and such stunning colors, to wear with the YSL tribute shoes (black) and a black clutch.Wonderfully adorable!

-Hotbuys Gloves: Extremely cute and so racy. It could dress down a formal short dress amazingly!

-Hotbuys boots : So not chic, and the pink is too much flashy! Not for me!!

-Hotbuys Bag: Lovely in a vichy checkered pattern with golden touches, and small pockets!Cute, girly and sweet! Definitely a bag to love!

-Hotbuys Skirt: A gorgeous skirt, tartan patterned tissue and a very girly form and colors! It would be great for layering and to add some color to an outfit!

-HB coat: Created by Matthew Williamson,amazingly multicolored with small flowers enbroidered, and seems so warm and cosy! I like but not my favourite.

-HB necklace: An adorable gold necklace, with a dragonfly adorned of precious gems. A definate must have, but it depends on how they will bring it on starplaza!

-HB pumps: Amazingly hot! Created by ASos, in a multicoloured snake skin or a leather with snake prints (who knows..do you?). I like the version seen here on the Hot buys page, but not the one that we will have and that we can see on the hotbuys doll wardrobe!

-HB Eyelashes: We now even can have that! Finally, eyelashes that wouldn't make our dolls look horrid, and it has a feathered aspect!

- HB Top: Last but not least, the fake imitated version of what we thought first was a hello Kitty creation but then found out on Seen On Stardoll that it was made by Fred flare! It's hotness!

Although, i prefer the original version. It was more simple!

This was my point of vew of the new hotbuys, that are certainly hot, but not as much as the last ones! My favourite pieces are surely the luella dress and the bag!

Fashion Weeks Trends

Hey there darlings!

The past few weeks, the world noticed the main fashion weeks in the the man fashion capitals: Paris, New York, London and Milan with eclectic fashion shows and collections that were presented by the most fascinating stylists and couturiers. New trends were born, some reinvented, and others were waken up from a long sleep. Well, the fashion creators outdone their selves to present a memorable collection but also to honour the spring, one of the most beautiful seasons in the most fascinating, creative and outstanding ensembles.

And as we, stardollians adore fashion-it obvious: Stardoll, Fame Fashion and friends, i decided to present you the most influencing trends and mainly the ones that can be applicable in stardoll as well as in real life.

So let's start:

Between soft pastels, deep warm colors and elaborate and bold forms, N.Y., London, Milan and Paris presented wonderful fashion weeks,with an incredible variety and diversity of forms, tissues, patterns, colors and textures, creating a deep astonishment but also some of confusion, because although when we see all those creations, we feel confused and lost about which styles are we going to adopt and appropriate for the next spring (that is way too fay), so i decided to present from time to time, some of the trends that marked splendidly those Fashion weeks, accompanied of a selection of starplaza pieces that could be introduced into an outfit to make it in the air of spring,even if it is not the actual season.

-Sparkle it up!

There's no more borders between the day and the night, the sparkles are everywhere, but not as we used to perceive it, for the Spring/Summer2009 the couturiers have presented it in wide diversity, while in N.Y. it's soft, shy and subtle wearable for every occasion day as well as night. In Paris it s wildly sparkling as a waterfall, or In Milan where it's worked by touches like in Carolina Herrera's collection. As you can see, sparkles are going to be strongly present for the next spring!

And as i was feeling perplexed about it, I asked the people i was in chat with on their opinion on this trend and here were their answers:

Marie: I love this look. But you have to be very careful with sparkles as it is very easy to clash, and fashion disasters can happen very easily. I believe it is a trend which will come back every season.

Angie: I love the trend, I think it works just as good every season. I like it to be more subtile with eye-catching accessories instead.

So Be aware of the sparkles, but it's definitely a trend to adopt for the next spring and the current fall!

Orange is another trendy colour that marked many collections during those fashion weeks, all adopting certain tones of the mentionned colors, in incredibly innovative creations as with C. Kane and his voluminous and gometrical forms, Lanvin asymetrical flows, and the flowless simplicity of Max Azria and Diane Von Furstenburg .

It's Juicy, fresh, and eye catching in all the tones, forms and contexts. It gives a ravishing silhouettes and some glow to the body. Here are some designers creations completely going madly orange! Starplaza Rennovation !?

Hey Darlings!

I bet you already know what i am going to talk about, but i can't help it, I'm in a blogging mood today (unlike the days before ^^)!! Well, this morning when i logged on, as always i directly went to the starplaza to see if there's any fashion pieces to love, adore, or mock and yes during the period of a weekend many became accessible, including the cute hotbuys boots and a bunch of rares. Everything sounded as usual! The...surprise that can't fit in the surprise zone was found seconds after, when i and many of you found a huge banner surrounding the mentioned attraction and shouting out loudly at our faces "under construction",but that was predictable after our blogging colleagues at Stardoll Fashion Forward had revealed the new changes few days ago.

The real surprise occurred this afternoon, when i came back from school and i found a brand new starplaza. I must say that i'm of a nature that basically dislikes surprises and radical changes, but i admit that in this case i abhorred, hated and execrated the new plaza and then when i discovered it part after part, i found that it's easier and practical.

But here are my reasons, for both hating and loving:

-There's no make-up or hair dye section! I searched in every corner..it disappeared and i even went to the styling studio (style medoll) and clicked on the tiny link saying "StarBeauty" at that page but nothing it only took me to the starplaza front page! What's the heck? -Our Medolls shows with no make-up, which it quite annoying. -It's very practical, and we can get to the "products" easier! -We don't have anymore the obligation to watch that shadow walking, and walking, and wal..... -The layout is modern and elegant, also some of the new boutiques are super cute!

We Love The Minishop!

From Horse Hair To Curtains, Stardoll Members Have Been Using The Minishop To Create Beautiful Outfits And Original Looks! And They Look Great. I Have Only Been Searching For A Few Minutes And Already I Have Found Many People With Minishop Created Outfits Which Look Great!

This creative godess has once again created a brilliant outfit but this time with Minishop items! This dress looks absolutely stunning and it's one of the best Minishop inspired outfit i have ever seen here on stardoll! All i can say is that i want that dress haha! Well done Dina.

Style_Magazine

Style used the white curtains from the Minishop to create this formal and elegant dress. I fell in love with this dress as soon as i seen it. It looks so chic and could easily be worn down the catwalk anyday. Great Job!

Springate

Anthony has gone a step ahead of us all and used the Minishop to create some stylish new hair styles and wow! He's done a great job. You can crete many more hairstyles like this by using the horse hair in the minishop. Anthony.. I'm speachless! Great Idea + Great Job!

I must say that Lou has to be my most favourite Minishop inspired clothing designer so far! Just look at this outfit.. Completely made by Minishop items. And yes, that skirt isn't a skirt.. it's curtains from the minishop! This isn't the first Minishop outfit Lou has created, there has been so much more and everyone completely brilliant! I must hand it to her, Lou has done an amazing job. Well done!

Best Looks:Stunning Stars

Hey darling, long time no posting.. but we're back on track! As you know, since the start of the blog, i presented some looks that you can use or get inspired by for your medoll. So this time i decided to point out some stardollians with the best make-up techniques; some were evident and i had to look for others!

So from page to page scanning medolls and detecting make up talent to find the ones that would be perfect for this post, the chosen ones have a unique look and certainly a professional technique, it almost makes a rhyme Haha! And i can say that these are my favourites looks of the moment.

Here are my notes and tips on the Make up top trends remarked of the ones i saw in SD:

-1- Scintillating eyes which results than using bright and dark colors for the eyeshadow.

-2- Smoky eyes, that you can get by mixing different shades of the same eyeshadow (dark),or two that have close colors, by spreading the layers in a way that the closest to the eye is the darkest.

-3- Two sides technique which is the most popular on stardoll, and that we used many times in the "get the looks"and that was seen firstly (i guess) on Ellie(fakeshake3).

-4-Fantaisie, some "rare" people are looking whimmsy fresh and exotic, with a touch or tons of originality and props to them!

Let's start this make up rhapsody!

MINIMALISTIC ELEGANCE

I will start with the pioneer, Style (style_magazine) who has special techniques,making her make-up always subtle and stunning and of course toned her own mark which is using the timeless black and white in a smoky eyes style.

After a dose of style, it's time for wildness and originality with Ashwy(theblack.sercet),who is always sporting a unique and chic look,without forgetting the stunning colors and the very innovative way she spreads her make-up.

Veronika(kiwigoesbananas) goes also black and white and proposes a very intense version, using different shades of black, the forms are very raced and truly stunning and she certainly spent a lot of time on it till it became so perfect

And now to Iina(iiNA.LOVES.YOUx), who is sporting very minimalist make-up, in shades of the previously mentioned colors, and using the two sides technique making her medoll scintillate and shine! And wow, she looks like a princess!

SWEET & CANDYLICIOUS

A so sweet look, a dazzling smile and candy eyes. Britney(Britneys07) rocks the sweetness and has created a very original look with cheering colors as lilac purple (that she created herself,as it doesn't exists in the available make up) and a marine blue that suits perfectly her eyes.I'm simply in love with it!

Gabrielle is sporting a very soft and fresh looks, perfectly avoiding the two much and staying chic. She's truy stunning and the shades of purple she created from pinky to aubergine are adorable, also her blondie hair color suits her make-up in rare perfection.

CREATIVE FANTAISIE

The make-up and hair coloration Diva is impressing look after look, in this one the prevailing and essential color is purple from the hair to the eyes, softening it with silver for the hair which creates a scintillating highlights!And the pink touch on the lips is so cute!

Fionamcgonigle's look blooms of creativity, she used so many colors.. almost 6 eye shadows for the eyes that looks so original and a very innovative lipstick made of two colors that gives a lip gloss aspect! So original and unique!

Get the looks and Updates.

Hello darlings!

I have another get the looks on the way but before that, did you see the outfits that will come in VT's next collection? Those that were most voted by all the stardollians, I personally voted for one or two, my favourites were the dresses n°15 and n°22!

Which ones are your favourites and are you satisfied by the results of the vote? Also do you like the winning dress n°38 in black? Personally I like it, but it has an air of deja vu!and a little too ordinary, not a dress that stand out in the crowd!

And in the category of the news, today the stardollar purchases value was doubled, whatever is the amount of stardollars you buy.. you got it doubled! Plus a cute free dress tempting ehh?

Now to our looks!

For this make up session, I created two looks inspired by the deep ocean's contrasts and colors, that vary between mysterious darkness and shining beauty!

The first symbolizes the treasures of the ocean with gold and precious pearls, and the calm blue azure water, that sparkles when the sun rays are reflected on it. Let's move to the steps!

1) Trace the contour of eye with the white eyepencil and over it the Kat Von D silver eyeliner .

2) Display both mascaras and some Eyebrow pencil Khaki on the eyebrows to soften the look!

3) Spread the Jumbo eyepencil blue on the outside area of the eyelid, then the Jumbo eyepencil Flesh and over it the Kat Von D Cornsilk eyeshadow on the inside are of the eye to have a glowing golden effect.

4) Acessories are playing a major role in this look, it makes it shine and scintillate and also add some glamour and wit on it, the choosen accessories are from CC chanel released jewellery collection at Splendid for 5 sd or less plus of course the must have headband,that go with all the looks and that you can purchase for only 3sd.

The second look is inspired from the ocean's anger and darkness, when the waves revolt and the thunder rumbles. I have used dark colors represented by royal indigo and a grey-ish blue mixed with a tiny flash of light that consists in the touch of white.

1) Display the white eyepencil, and tons of mascara!

2) Spread the Kat Von D Rad purple eyeshadow, using many layers on the outside zone of the eyelid and the Jumbo eyeshadow blue using only one layer! And Voila..rumble and snarl only by small look at your opponent! I hope it's not me haha!

September Hotbuys!

Yes, it's that time again.. the time the new hotbuys are realeased! The time where we all quickly go to the Fashion section of the magazine and search until we find and view these new upcoming hotbuys. And this month I must say that stardoll have done us proud! I absolutely love them.

From the Oh so chic black bow to the Fendi purse, it all looks so stylish and exciting. Stardoll has defiantly upped their game this month and we are all falling for the fashion! Personally, i think this may just be the best hotbuys we have had in a long time and i bet most of you agree. My favourite items are the Fendi purse and the Skirt. What's yours ? DKNY VS Vivienne Tam

Hey everyone. Today my good friend Roisin asked me which i prefered.. DKNY or Vivienne Tam. I didn't know what to say as i absolutely adore DKNY as it's so unique and gives us something new each time but Vivienne Tam is so fresh and so loveable. Then it hit me.. Idea! I would add a new section to the blog which is.. Public Vote. This is where i create a subject and ask around 10-20 people which they prefer and the results will be posted here. The very first section is... DKNY VS Vivienne Tam and here is what my lucky chosen ones said..

Fayasi - Vivienne Tam. It's fresher, more flowery.. My style totally.

hrvatica_97 - I prefer Vivienne Tam. It's much more colorful, unique && Haute Couture.

hottie-roshe - Wata toughie. Probably Dkny, it has much rarer clothing items and is more city like and i'm a city gal!

Nyangel - I like DKNY because it looks better and it has bags dresses, shirts, and shoes too!! [:

Serena.London - Vivienne Tam because I love all the clothes.

Model-Selena - Honestly, I would rather wear Donna Karan's brand, DKNY, than Vivienne Tam. This doesn't mean that I hate the Vivienne Tam collection. I like it too, but I just prefer DKNY. The reason I prefer DKNY is that, the collection is very original each season, and there is a lot of variety. The pieces Donna Karan designs for the brand are very chic, interesting, and of course fashion-forward. I'd also like to add that I am anxious to see the DKNY Ready-To-Wear Fall/Winter 2008 collection, here on Stardoll.

FASHION-IS-LOV3 - Most defiantly DKNY. How can you question Donna's work. She has so much more unique and runway looks than Vivienne Tam also Donna Karen is far more well known. On the other hand Vivienne Tam is a nice brand and has brilliant designs but compared to DKNY it's material.

Fakeshake3 - Vivienne Tam, there is more of a range, it seems she has a more clear image in her head. DKNY just seems to be a little all over the place. And they create clothes just because they are what other designers are doing. However I hated those Vivienne Tam boots from fall 08!!

Paris.Freche - yeeouch thats a hard one. if i really really had to pick one it would be dkny. why? because just look at the past collections.. magnificent! even tho' the last collection was a kind of mess because of vivienne tam taking over it is still my fav because it's the best at heart! if that makes sense ? lol!

HulaBaby - I prefer Vivienne Tam as its very creative and chic!

Kiwigoesbananas - Mmm hard...i like the DKNY old collections more then the new onesvivienne tam looks amazing...i guess im going for vivienne tam, love the colours, and its sooo inspiring&unique in every way :]

To_Royal - Vivienne Tam. The reason is because i LOVE the colors, patterns and the shape. AND because it has an asian vibe to it and I love asian things :) DKNY is really good and all but not really my style at times

October Is Done!

Yes, another issue and another success!

Steelone, the talented artist and magazine editor has created the IT issue, youthful, deep and delightful for a month that promises rain, clouds, trench coats and umbrellas! With a very innovative section which is the photoshoot as we all love graphics and some don't have time or patience to read the articles, Sara proposed a set of astonishing pictures starring Dina (verojun) in glamorous haute couture ensembles and with some stunning graphics!

The Cover Girl of this issue is Amelie(Delacroix) who starred in a very Parisian photo shoot on the side of Parisian iconic monuments, in gorgeous dresses accessories and poses accompanied of a very interesting interview.

I wished this issue had more articles because it is kind of short and i want to read and see more... more...and more!

Get The looks: Go Green.

Hey Gorgeous! It's Heidi again. Want your looks, eh? You gonna get them darling! This 'get the looks" was inspired by the go green and organic craze going on stardoll right now!The first was inspired by the earth, the second ocean with a little bonus which a third flora inspired look :) Well, lets begin.. The First Look: Earth This look was inspired by our Planet earth colors, blue and green which are the colors of life! 1)Display Metallic Green Eyeliner and over the dark green eyepencil, without covering the inside corner of the eye! 2) On the empty corner, trace the contour with white eye pencil and diplay two layers of mascara to have to strong sight. 3) On the inside area, display the Jumbo eyepencil blueand on the outside the light green eyeshadow (both many times to have a clear colour) 4) To accessorize continue in the go green and use the planet Earth earring.

The Second Look: The Ocean

This look was inspired by the oceans contrasted colors and symbols, once calm and peaceful and the other violent, wild and dangerous.

1) Display the Metallic green eyeliner and teal blue eye pencil,on all the eye except the inside corner.

2) Trace the contour with the white eye pencil on the empty inside corner and black mascara on the whole eye!

3) Spread the Jumbo eyepencil Blue on the inside half of the eyelid; and Kat Von D Leather brown eyeshadow on the outside area many time till you have the desired tone.

4) To add a youthful and graceful touch to the look accessorize it with the light grey headband.

The Third Look: Wild exotic Flora

This look as you can guess is inspired from exotic flowers that we can find in the Amazon and scintillates of cheerful colors and gives a warm sensation and also that could imagined on the mythological Amazones.

1) Display the white eyepencil on the extreme inside corner of the eye, then Metallic blue mascara and the Blue eyepencil on the contour of the eye without touching the white area.

2) Use both mascara, Black and Volume black to thick your lashes and trace the lips with the Maniac Lipstick 13.

3) On the outside area of the eyelid spread many layers of the Jumbo eyepencil flesh, then on the opposite side display two times the Jumbo eyepencil purple.

4) Since it's exotic, wild and especially inspired from Flora.. Accessorize this look with the leafs headband and for some glamour use the gold headband and flower pearl earrings.

Organic Panic!!

Hello Darlings

After the materialistic last themes,filled with gold,pearls,diamonds,gems,luxury haute couture collections including Chanel and Dior,Stardoll decided that it was time to care about earth and to go completely green with a new theme called "Organic Panic" with a new minishop items,a new released clothes including items from Missoni and Dries Van Noten's collections.

I'm very pleased by this theme as an earth lover(not that much but yeah..) and the clothing is very well made apart from the total green old reintroduced items!and the furnitures are gorgeous,i love the new interior!!

And while surfing in the website of Burberry,(the blouse i bought yesterday),i found that Stardoll was inspired by Burberry's trenchcoat to create the Nathalie one found at Stardoll(the boutique),i'm not sure it is the same,but it's very similar!And Oh gosh i love both versions!!

And since,i'm in a very good mood today,i decided to make a research and show you,Dries Van Noten Real creation revealed in his Ready to wear Fall 2008 collection in Paris,and Missoni's one belonging aswell to RTWF2008 but this time revealed in Milan.

Stardoll Updates.

Hey everyone! It's Marie.

Okay, so there's a few things to tell you about the blog and stardoll.

Firstly, Just incase you didn't know already, you can get a free dress in the stardoll cinema by watching the trailer for the new movie (coming this fall) called Igor.

I don't know what to think of it but it will be great for stardoll fancy dress parties.

It reminds me of the days when i was only a toddler, I dressed up in my mom's clothes and put lots of different pieces together.. it looked terrible but it was lots of fun. Then i would run around the house like a mad man and pretend i was tarzan haha! Aww good times. Anyway.. tell us what you think of it in a comment.

Second of all stardoll must be desperate for stardollars! WHY? Gosh, look at the amount of Voile Dresses they have been giving to non-superstars in the past month-2 months and guess what? They have even started giving them to superstars to. This is what i got in my mailbox today...

I love when stardoll gives you something in return as I top-up on my stardollars quite often and getting a free dress along with it does not bother me haha! Anyway it is totally worth buying stardolls as when this offer is over this dress will be uber rare and you'll probably get $60 for it.

Finally, there is a new tab in the stardoll mailing section. It is Updates (as seen below.)

When i seen this i got curious and decided to click on it thinking i would get lots of updates about the stardoll world but..

Nothing was there.. empty. I wonder what is it. Anyone know? Any ideas? Make sure to tell us.. we're dying to know haha.

Chanel Best Dressed

Hello fashionistas and Chanel admirers!

In a previous post dedicated to the Chanel Invasion i promised you a best dressed list and here it is! For this list I didn't pick people who are randomly wearing Chanel because if so you'll find in it half the stardollians or more. Also, almost all the outfits are monochromatic and starring black and gold!

The chosen ones have showed their creativity and their own style and have added the Chanel items to their own style.

Keziyah proposed a very romantic and innovative outfit combining delicacy, Romanticism and a rock'n'roll touch provided by the boots, fishnet tights, her uber fierce look and perfect accessorizing. It's very Parisian and looks like it is coming out from a fashion show.

She never fails to impress and to make the "it outfit"! Congrats Kez! Coco would've been proud of you haha.

Noelle, the layering diva created a wonderful ensemble, layering dozens of pieces more than 26 to be exact in ferosh gold and black tones, Luxe and Glamour characterize the outfit and Noelle's got the perfect accessories combining it to the Chanel iconic pieces. She always sets the highest level and no one can compete with her wonderful fashion sence and creativity.

Noelle is truly talented and all her outfits are a master haute couture pieces.

Stardoll's one and only masculine fashion genius, Anthony created a very chic outfit combining sailor charm and Parisian chic in an outfit that i could easily imagine in a photo shoot taking place in bridge on La Seine in Paris.

Anthony definitely recreated the Chanel spirit!

Style_Magazine

Stardoll's haute couture mantra, Style created a truly stunning ensemble. Her flawless and floaty outfit is combining minimalism and glamour and covering it all of her personal touch timeless monochromatic colors layering skirts dresses and using smartly the Chanel hair accessory as a pin or a brush on the shoulder, conferring a Grecian touch.

I would imagine it in Elie Saab or Versace's resort or haute couture collections. But Style corrected me and said it's inspired from Marchesa's Fall 2007 collection!

Our sweet fashionista has done it again and got into our best dressed list! Her outfit is the incarnation of simple chicness dismissing the too much or the not enough and the accessories are perfection, love every part of it. Well done.

Sarah has really impressed me by her mysteriously chic creation. The hat confers so much delicacy, elegance and character to the outfit with couture forms mixed with chicness and creativity. Excellent.

Chanel invades Stardoll & More.

Oh My God! I'm in love and I'm living the perfect amour! The new Chanel items are the lucky guy haha.

You must have heard of it in every blog and every disucssion today, but do you realise that it's a virtual miracle! Have you ever dreamed of owning a Chanel? Yes,we all want it, but we all don't get it! Today, stardoll realised the dream of many fashionistas around the world from the deep far Morroco to the hollywoodian hills in USA! I might be exaggerating.. Am i? We can own a clutch, belt or hat from the most luxurious, iconic house of couture in the history of Fashion by a simple click for a super duper affordable price 3 to 5 sd that will glitze our medolls outfit and grace it making of a simple outfit---> a couture one and of course hopeless cases excluded! While all this Chanel Craze and frankly before, i realized something that first freaked me out and it's...that i love my medoll and consider it in a way as a part of moi or of my family, exactly as i did with my barbies when i was 8, dressing it and brushing the hair and playing roles with friends as in a tea party or such with our barbies dressed in Gala or cocktail just like we all do with our medolls! Don't you just love yours? I bet you do! Back to Chanel, I'll be spotting people with Chanel clothing or accessories and the best will be featured in a best dressed list in the blog as soon as possible! Also, the said IT BAG was released with Missmej as a winner! The bag is such a piece of rack, ugly colors and a weird shape. They could've worked more on it. Don't you think? Well, that is all for now. Falling For Fashion!

When i logged on today i noticed that something was different about stardoll...and yes, Autumn Jewels theme has gone away and substituted by a new theme "Falling For Fashion" coming along with new minishop furnitures,a deadly gorgeous gift necklace and a new doll Decade,that is quite mysterious to me because decade means a period of time lasting 10 years! Is it what they mean by it or is there a famous person called Decade? When i googled it, i only found definition of the term! Do you have any idea what the doll symbolizes?

Anyway, the minishop furnitures are combining minimalism touches and glamour with pearls, bling bling and monochromatic colors. J'adore the bow that could be actually used in outfits but i don't see the utility of the silhouettes in different poses. I would have preferred a shadow for my medoll or such...I'm sure creative spirits will find how to use it!

Also, my favourite item in stardoll's clothes history was re-released, it's the white pretty skirt that completes perfectly every Gala or Couture outfits, giving volume and sophistication! It's only for 5sd and for all! Don't miss it or you'll regret it haha.

Get The looks!

Hey darlings! It's Heidi in the place! Late today i realized it passed a long time since i posted some looks, so i decided to go to the sephora make up section and try up something when i got...those looks!! The first is inspired by.....the DKNY sequin t-shirt dress and also a dark desire of luminous darkness haha! 1) Trace the contour of the eye with the white eye pencil and over it the Kat Von D grey eyeliner and spread both mascaras 2) Display the Kat Von D charcoal eyeshadow many times on the inside area of the eye and many layers the jumbo eye pencil purple to create a contrast and a metallic effect. 3) Go to splendid and get some accessories to complete the look, accentuate the metallic effect and add a touch of glamour with a golden head band and mega sparkling huge diamond earrings. For the second encore in the dark glamour theme. I decided to make it more creative, more runway-ish but unlike the first one. The latter is un peu difficult.oh and when i ended it, i felt that my medoll looked like a retro Grecian goddess.

1) Trace the contour of the eye with the white eye pencil(as for the first) and over it the metallic green eye liner and both black mascaras

2) Spread the Kat Von D metallic blue eyeshadow on the inside zone of the eyelid untill the color is clearly blue, on the other display the Jumbo eye pencil Flesh many times till it's deadly orange letting an empty area between the blue and orange.

3) On the empty zone, display one layer of the blue eyeshadow and over it the Jumbo eye pencil beige!

4) For more Glamour and sophistication combine the blue headband and the hot buys head band and here you go!! Direction: NY fashion week or the Olympe?

I hope you like those looks! I have to go now, I'm super tired...aahh it has been a long shopping day and I'm hearing my cosy bad calling....haha

The Anarchista!

Hazy_cloud121 rules the fashion world defying all the classic standards. One of the rarest stardollians who dare to be different while we're all absorbed by the dream of perfection and harmony, Keziyah creates her own style and spreads the anarchism around the fashion sphere in a retro wild, extravagant haute couture air and shines by her always incredibly impressing styles, that breaths till the overdose creativity and uniqueness. What i love most in Kez is that she speaks her mind, sets her own laws and defends her principles and ideas untill the end creating interesting debates and discussing the world. Her blog The Acid Crowd is one of my favourites, it always makes me smile, laugh, think deeply or simply enjoy fashion by Kez and her co-bloggers!

Oh and i almost forgot, she co-own the liquid-x,one of the best night clubs here in stardoll and it's there where Marie and I met for the first time ^^ Keziyah definitely changed our world and flavoured it to her own style.

Exclusive Interview With Star_Awards

Hello Linda. Why don't you start off by telling us a bit about yourself ?

Well, I'm a girl with different personalities, lol, but I'm very friendly and funny once you get to know me. I love learning about Art History and also love writing.

You say you love writing, is this one of the reasons why you started The Star Dose and if not, what did ?

Yes, it's one of the reasons I started TheStarDose

Your passion for writing started TheStarDose, What began The Star_Awards and what ended it?

The Star_Awards was started to award those with talent and to give regonition to those who deserved it. But the awards ended due to my lack of inspiration with most of the members, stardoll isn't what it used to be anymore and it just doens't feel right doing and award show anymore.

How do you think stardoll has changed and what do you think caused this change?

It's now turned into some kind of wresting ring, in which everyone is out to get you. It's full of negative energy and drama. And stardoll has made playing this game even harder for non-superstars.

I know what you mean. It's very unfair but stardoll is also full of many brilliant things. What would be your favourite thing on stardoll ?

The only thing I like about stardoll is having your own suite and being able to create wantever you want. But stardoll is kind of a rip off in my case because it won't let me use the StarDesign and my Suite Chat doesn't work. But the reason I come on almost everyday is for the friends that I've made.

Yes, friends are a big part of stardoll. Now, lets get to know a bit more about you. What do you do in your free time and what are your favourite hobbies ?

Well, I usually go out with my friends, out to school football games or shopping and stuff. My favorite hobbies are bicycling and drawing.

How would you describe your style and is there anyone who you look up to style wize?

I have different styles, but I guess I mostly have a retro funky style, I mostly get inspired my different things and people, I don't really know much about fashion, lol.

You may not know alot about fashion but you are a definate trendsetter! That is we chose you to interview. Finally, to finish off the interview.. If you could have anything in the world, what would it be and why?

To be honest, I don't know, lol.

What do you see when you look at this picture?

Who is she? This is the Trendsetter... Writemarycat. Not only is Mary a well known fashionista with style to die for but she's also a loyal and kind friend to all.

She sounds great, right?

Well, that's not all! Mary is also the creator of Eternity Magazine which is simply one of the top magazines on stardoll. She has also been covergirl on other magazines, including Teen Style Magazine!

Now, she sounds brilliant! There couldn't be anything else she can do.

Well, yes there is! She also has her own blog Waiting For Eternity at the moment which is oh so fabulous.

One of my favourites.

Mary is most defiantly a trendsetter of stardoll. Her outfits always make me smile and say Wow! Her accesorizing and layering skills perfect her perfect look. As for her suite... words can not describe this place of paradise. It is the kind of suite that makes you want to keep coming back to see it, the kind of suite that you wish was yours.

Mary is one in a million and no one can replace this chic, daring fashionista.

Aaah finally, yesterday was the release of the magazine i've been working on. It has been long weeks of work and long hours spent on MSN with Rita (SF.magazine) sharing ideas, files, graphic tricks and planning this issue. I'm quite satisfied of the work we made.

As i went to the starplaza to see if there's something new and... boum bang bang! I found that there's 2 new collections out which are Heidi Klum by Jordache that i love! Very chic but streetwise and Jordache....no comment! I love Heidi Klum's collection, the pieces are well designed and the cutout very edgy and chic..exactly what we all want! while Jordache in the boutique's second floor is ..how could i put it without being mean... aha ordinary! Personally, i dress normally in real life. Why would i in stardoll wear similar, i want haute couture, glamorous creations, gala dresses....to live the fantasy, the dream of fashion! Also, "Jordache" is...nothing alike! Thank god i can still confort my self with Vivienne Tam! haha Enjoy the new collection!!! Oh, also the YSL Hot Buys Jacket was released. i ADORE it

I'm Back. (:

I'm Back. (:

And glad to be back too.

Sorry that i left in such a hurry and didn't get to tell you all... It all happened in such a hurry. I would never have thought that moving house was so heptic! Haha. Anyway, After many of days packing and unpacking and decorating and sorting I finally had the time to get online. While i was eating my dinner one afternoon i noticed.. Oh My God, i have forgot all about stardoll and i haven't even told them i will be gone for a while. For the rest of that day, while chosing a colour for my new bedroom walls, all i could think of was the blog and how it was going. Luckily, i have the fabulous Heidi working with me and she kept everything up to date. While moving house i did get some time on my laptop for a few minutes but i used that time replying to mails and guestbook comments on stardoll and then i had to reply to mail and comments on other sites also.. then i also had to squeeze in time to see my friends and so much more. I have had such a busy few weeks. Anyway, now i am back in business haha. My very busy few weeks are over and i am ready to relax. Stardoll has changed a bit in the past few weeks.. including the new catwalk. Oh la laa, i like the sound of that.. don't you? Well, I must go. I will see you all later in a post.

TeenStyle Released.

Yesterday, the first part TeenStyle September/October issue was released and on the cover the wonderful Mary Walkerson, our dear Mary, who looks just fabulous on the cover in an unusual original look combining floral prepster with the skirt, a chic rock with the boots and adding the glamour with the Chanel clutch and bracelets! The background is so beautiful, a natural landscape! Ah-Mazing and the articles sounds interesting!

Our darling Mary totally deserved it and I'm starving to read her interview!

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait some weeks since Selena and Style have only published the cover, contents and the Editor's Letter. The rest will be published every Monday in the rhythm of an article every once.

Stardoll News: Catwalk eh?

After a first day of Ramadan, fasting all the day and finally at the sunset, eating my pizza with seafood, some shrimp pastilla and Moroccan pancakes, i logged in to stardoll and then my surprise! There's a new feature called "CATWALK"! Not the one on the side where superstars pass over and over, no it's totally new!

I was so excited! When i arrived to the "CATWALK" i found out that it's about rating the dolls that we save in our albums, the best rated rules the catwalk and the following are qualified as stylish!

it's just great!and the idea is totally original....huh? NOPE! Stardoll sort of copied dressupchallenge.com 's idea of rating makeovers!

Well, it is common to stardoll to copy and i have nothing against it as long as we have fun!

I'm actually more revolted against another thing, the outfit that rules the runway... look by yourself....

Oh gosh, i can't believe it, from the millions of original outfits,the one that rules our catwalk is...hideous, effortless and unwearable in stardoll public!

Get The Looks And New Playlist!

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome with me... The playlist!! This playlist took so much time, it's not the greatest but in order to have a couture layout (Gucci) i had to restrict my choices but finally...it's done. The songs are my favourite of the moment with disco, house and Latino rhythms with some r'n'b and pop! I hope you guys like it!Concerning me, i love the Gucci pattern on it and my favourite song there is definitely "wash my world" by Laurent Wolf that incites us all to wash our world (fig) by protecting the environment and not harming our planet Earth ;) oh also "give it 2 me" by Madonna! J'adore. Now dearest, let's get our looks! I made these looks before the weekend but i didn't have time to post'em, so I'm not sure all the steps are correct. After the eccentricity of last time i chose more soft looks but a hint daring and plus make up this time, there's accessories! The first: Floral delicacy

1) Use the light, dark purple and white eyepencil and combine them to get a smoky effect on the inside side of the eye, on the other the Metallic grey eyeliner 2) Put on some black mascara and on the upper eyelid the black eyeliner 3) Display the white eyeshadow on the inside corner and the jumbo eyepencil purple on the outside. 4)A floral headband, diamond earrings and here you go fresh as a flower haha

The second: The Royal Swan

1) Put all the black eyeliner and eyepencil and tons of mascara on all the contour of the eye.

2) Display the white eyeshadow on all the eyelid and then a grey or the dark green (yes it gives this color) carefully till you cover a small area (as you see)

3) Display the lipstick cream pink and over it the lipstick maniac 06.

4) Some royal platinum jewellery adorned with black diamonds from Heidi klum!

When i finished this look, i figured out that my medoll reminds me of a royal swan and that's why i called it so!
